WHAT DOES THE CLEAR COMMAND IN CONFIG TERMINAL MODE IN CISCO PIX DO?

When i was in config depot mode in my cisco pix, i had a brain relapse and typed clear. Does this reset all of my pattern or does which authority need some-more arguments?
