I now have 1 Cisco 3550 switch but have filled up all the GBIC ports with 2970 switches, i need some-more 2970 switches combined to the LAN, i have an additional gangling 3550 switch but need to know how to smoke-stack both 3550’s to give me this larger capacity? I hold i need a Gigastack GBIC Connector to bond both 3550’s together but what do i do then? How do i configure them? certainly it’s not as simply as block and play? Any assistance would be appreciated.
