Sometimes it doesn't pay to shrink things so much. . . The Nano is almost too small. It doesn't sound great out of the box, meaing you have to apply some EQ. I am not a fan of iTunes. Windows Media Player does a better job of sync'ing files with portable mp3 players. You can't just delete songs or video from your iPod to free up space, you have to use iTunes which is a pain. The program wants to categorize all your music for you (and decide which songs should be sync'ed when space gets limited). Windows Media also does a better job of finding album artwork. Of course if you bought all your music from the iTunes store than it would get it right. I wonder if Apple does that on purpose?? Apple put the video camera at the wrong end of the device (it is counter intuitive). You have to hold it upside down when in portrait mode or flip it on the side and make sure you don't block the lens with your hand when you hit the middle of the jog wheel to start/stop recording. To export your video clips you have to access the device via MY COMPUTER. Check out the Creative Zen players. . . they got it right.

Mine pià ¹ great è claim duration of life of the battery. That kind of duration of life of the battery you can attenderti from yours iPod seems to be fortune-de--it designs. Some are good and some are not così good. I have my putting to device point in order to conserve the duration of life of the battery the pià ¹ possible and only obtain approximately five hours of game. If the battery è completely loaded and then left made unusable, nearly completely out of order è all' inside of a week or two. If you do not have an acquaintance of with this style of iPod, be or perceived that they are enough fragile; it falls once on a hard surface and can bet that it is going to break off itself. Moreover not gradico the fact that Apple seems to try to force people in being used the itunes (than really bites). It has some positive characteristics, that you can read approximately from other critics us, but as soon as I find the duration of life of the battery unexceptable. I am going to see if Apple replaces the battery via the guarantee. In affirmative case, probably commuterà ² to a review of 4 stars.

This generation of the ipod has even less battery life than the 4th generation. I was listening to it for an hour and a half on the lowest brightness setting, the 2 second backlight (because you can't see what your doing without the backlight), and the battery was indicating that I had 4/5ths of the power left. That means I could listen to music for about 6-7 hours.

My 2nd Generation ipod last 24 hours with full brightness and a 10 second backlight! I've had it for almost 4 years, too!

The "aluminum" casing looks like cheap plastic, and feels like it too. When I got the 4th gen ipod in purple, it was beautiful. This one was so ugly and flat colored and textureless that I couldn't even buy the blue or purple, I had to go with pink. The pink, red, green, and "gold" (more yellow) ones are the only decent looking ones. The other ones look very cheap.

But, the radio feature, while not having the best sound, is GREAT! The tagging of your favorite songs is even better.

In the end, I had to return it (just like the 4th gen). I listen to my ipod too much in a day to have it drain in a few hours. And what is the point of a beautiful display if you can't see it because the backlight is off and the brightness is so low?

It might have visual appeal, but it's not worth it if you have an original or 2nd gen or even a 3rd or 4th gen, because they all look and perform better.

I, unfortunately, will never be buying an Apple ipod again =(

In something of a modernization unusual dwarf, Apple has supplied it& #039; s last iPod many little ones with some characteristic new. no pià ¹ useless of the integrated video camera. With the owners of the advanced model pià ¹, the touch of the iPod, wishing for a such characteristic for a po of time seems that Apple has express neglected the demands for the consumer once again.

The last characteristics of the fifth generation iPod Dwarf are like follow:

- Reducing Price
- Integrated Video camera
- Modernized Flash Memory (8GB 16GB)
- Pià ¹ great screen (now 2. 2 inches)
- Microphone
- Radius of FM (only available on the stations of radius of HD in the United States)
- Duration of life of the battery a po' pià ¹ long in which video of surveillance (audio: 24 hours of video: 5 hours)

Adding to a camera to the Dwarf anziché the touch it seems that the last modernizations have been planned with the children in mind. It is similar the consumers who want a iTouch equipped camera dovrà to attend an other year at least. Sigh.

It looks beautiful, but my son dropped his when getting out of the car on the way home from the store. The screen broke, and Apple wants $80 to fix it. I can't imagine such a poorly designed piece of equipment lasting any amount of time. What a piece of junk.
